Ben Chua

I have trained and fought in kyokushin karate, kickboxing and boxing. In total I had 15 fights. I have been fortunate to fight overseas, and on a number of professional shows locally and interstate.

As a 51kg flyweight living in Australia, there were very limited opportunities to develop a career in fighting. In October 1996 I opened up my gym and decided to fulfill my passion for the fight game by training my own fighters.
As the number of boxers in my gym grew, it became too difficult to continue fighting myself. In July 2001 I was happy to win a tough bout against a local fighter. I decided to go out on a high note and hang up the gloves.

As a trainer, I have 14 years experience, trained in Thailand, and the fighters from my gym have competed in over 150 fights. My gym has won one Australian title and seven Victorian titles.
